Combex systems for straining applications in the mill room

VMI-AZ Extrusion has delivered many Combex strainer systems mainly located in the mill room for hot or cold feed straining in combination with downstream batch-off systems.

Typical strainer types are Combex 120 and Combex 150, with the specific size based on the mill room output requirements. Due to the fact that the gear pump builds up the required pressure for straining, energy input into the compound is greatly reduced when using our Combex systems.

In addition to rubber straining, Combex strainer systems are already in operation for high output silicone-rubber straining applications.

The VMI-AZ Combex strainers are offered in different sizes according to customer output requirements:

Combex 120 Standard System
800 to 1,000 kG/h (1,760 - 2,200 Lbs./hr.)

Combex 120 High Output
1,200 to1,500 kg/h (2,640 – 3,300 Lbs./hr.)

Combex 120 Mega Output
2,000 to 2,500 kg/h (4,400 – 5,500 Lbs./hr.)

Combex 150
3,000 to 3,700 kg/h (6,600 – 8,100 Lbs./hr.)
