Rapid head change

Twin heads are designed for quick changeover of the complete head including the strainer plate with mesh screen and the die with flow channel. Head locking is provided by a hydraulic operated c-clamp. The scope of supply includes the hydraulic power unit and the hydraulic cylinder.

While one head is in operation, the second head can be prepared for the next planned extrusion application. After the change-over the first head can be cleaned whilst the extruder is running again.
