Vertical cross head

The vertical cross head is usually used for steel belt extrusion and provides quick open and closing.

By retracting the upper head housing with a manual operated hydraulic hand pump the die, cord guides and strainer plate can be exchanged.

Head locking is provided by four bolts. The new vertical design significantly reduces time for exchange of the tooling and strainer plate. In addition, cleaning time is reduced as well.
