OTR retread tread apply
Tread build up for OTR tires is provided by the Strip builder. This system consists of an extruder gear pump system, tire stand and software control.Thanks to the volumetric operating gear pump the strip can be directly applied during extrusion onto the carcass.
Strip apply position and tread build up is controlled by a laser sensor and the software program. Individual programs can be made according to customers tread requirements.
Our Strip builder offers following advantages:
- Direct strip apply - no Calander required
- Gear pump delivers high output precision
- Close distance between die and tire
- Gear pump allows use of short screw - low risk of scarching and low temperature
- Different strip sizes possible by just changing the die
