TPE / TPV compounding
Our Planetruders® are used as side feed extruders in continuous mixing applications for both thermoplastic elastomers (TPE / TPV),as well as rubber mixing.
Our Planetruder® as a side feeder for compounding extruders offer the following advantages:
- Precise feeding: Due to the working principle of planetary gear pumps the feeding precision of a Planetruder S better than
+/- 0,4%.
- Rubber pre-heating: The rubber is always pre-heated inside the Planetruder and enters the compounding extruder at a given temperature. This simplifies the compounding process as compared to cold pellet feeding.
- Easy integration: Due to the compact technology of our single drive Planetruders, our machines can be simply attached to the compounding extruders without taking up excessive space as compared to other bulky extruder gear pump systems.
- 100% leakage free: The planetary gear pump system operates without any outside rubber leakage.
- No more rubber Pelletizing: Our Planetruders® can handle strips so that rubber pelletizing is no longer required.
